Research Ideas Coffee Talk
Biweekly sessions for PhD students to discuss newly-formed research ideas in a safe and friendly environment before starting a project. Occasional special sessions on data sharing and idea generation.

Barcelona Essential Skills Training for Economics PhD Students
A series of lectures by leading European experts covering key research phases — from identifying feasible projects to communicating findings and producing final academic outputs. Designed for early-stage economists.

Monthly seminar in which PhD students from UPF and UAB present their work-in-progress to peers and faculty, fostering cross-institutional collaboration in applied economics.
